The Common Good

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation (TPCHF) is making the world better… One discovery at a time.

TPCHF exists to fund and support health and medical research aligned with The Prince Charles Hospital who in turn are tackling Australia’s most significant chronic illness.

One of the biggest challenges researchers face is the uncertainty around funding. Too often, lifesaving research is put on hold when funding simply runs out. TPCHF are determined to help take research to a meaningful conclusion by focusing on providing sustainable support. If nothing is more important to us than our health, and if the only way we can overcome chronic disease is through medical research, how can we not ensure the researchers are supported every minute of every day?

The Foundation is coordinated by a group of local community members who dedicate their time to support patients, families and carers at The Prince Charles Hospital, known as Charlie’s Angels. Wearing their yellow shirts with pride, they support all areas of the hospital from admissions to ICU and emergency.

The Charlie’s Angels Volunteers are proudly sponsored by Kedron-Wavell Services Club.
