Support veteran mental health and cancer research at the inaugural Red Run
Set your pace (run, walk or jog) and honour the legacy of our diggers this Remembrance Day by taking part in the inaugural Red Run on Sunday 5th of November 2017.
The Red Run is no ordinary fun run!!!
With active involvement from current and ex-service personnel, tunes from the 7th Brigade band, and military equipment on display, this event is a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country.
The official Red Run charity partner is the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF) which conducts life-changing research into PTSD and cancer.
Proud sponsor, Kedron-Wavell Services Club, will host the Red Run and the market-feel event precinct.
One of the most decorated soldiers in Australian history, Keith Payne, VC, AM will lead the ode during the pre-race service which will include the last post, reveille and minute silence. Payne was awarded the VC for his actions during the Vietnam War, and is the last Australian recipient of the “Imperial” Victoria Cross.
