Applications are now open for the Club’s 2016 Community Grants Program which will provide approximately 66 organisations with either a $5,000, $2,500 or $1,000 grants.
Community-based organisations are invited to submit an application showing how they strengthen their communities by making a valuable and long term sustainable contribution. Organisations requiring financial assistance or who have ideas they believe will help the community are also encouraged to apply.

Club General Manager, Lyndon Broome, said that over the last 10 years the Kedron-Wavell Services Club has provided $12million in grants to individual or community organisations, as well as extensive in-kind support.

“The Community Grants Program is part of our commitment to playing an active part in our community and ensuring the Club’s community donations are distributed amongst deserving organisations who are doing great work within our community,” he said.

“We know first-hand that it is the small projects that can often have a significant reach and impact on our communities. This is an opportunity for community-based organisations to come forward and tell us about the good work they are doing.”
