We have a number of different social clubs available to Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc. members.

To join any of the social clubs you must first be a current member of Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc.

Amateur Fishing Club
The Fishing Club offers an opportunity for members to meet with other keen anglers of all standards and talk about the one that got away, or preferably didn’t.  Our monthly Monday meetings are followed by a day or weekend fishing in the estuaries or beaches around Brisbane. 

Membership: $20 annually + $10 per trip.

Aspley Little Athletics
Affiliated with QLD Little Athletics Association and Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc., Aspley Little Athletics has a membership of over 300 children, offering quality coaching, competition and facilities to its members no matter what their capabilities are. Coaching is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30pm-7.30pm. All coaches are AT and FCA qualified. Competition is held mainly on Saturday mornings but in the hotter part of the season competition is held on Friday nights from 6pm-9pm under lights. The season concludes with the State Championships in Townsville on 26-28 March 2010.

Aspley Athletics Club
Affiliated with QLD Athletics and Kedron-Wavell Services Club Inc., Aspley Athletics Club caters for all ages to Masters. We offer quality coaching, competition and facilities to its members no matter what their capabilities are.

Billiards and Snooker Club
Interclub snooker and billiards (all grades) are now located at Jennings Street, Zillmere. The Kedron-Wavell Billiards and Snooker Club is affiliated with the Qld Billiards and Snooker Association. 2009 has been a great year, fielding eight teams in three different grades in the Brisbane Pennants with five teams making the finals. Social days and Club Championships have been well supported and we have recently hosted the State Championships at our venue, which now boasts four world championship tables. We have over 100 members including juniors, registered coached and referees.

Membership:
$15 annually. Both competitive and social players are welcome.

Ex-Servicewomen's Association
Kedron-Wavell Ex-Servicewomen’s Association invites servicewomen from all eras; World War II, including Land Army, post World War II to currently serving Defence members to become member of the association and help to continue to preserve the history of Women’s Defence Service. 

Join us and enjoy:
- Social functions and outings
- Fellowship with women from all branches of the Defence Services
- Participate in fundraising for charity

The association meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 1400hrs at Kedron-Wavell Services Club.

Golf Club
The Golf Club provides an opportunity for members to play competitive golf in a social atmosphere. Games are held fortnightly at various courses around Brisbane. The club averages 35 players per game and offers prizes for each game + a ball run down. Club Championships are held each year in A, B and C grades. We also compete in a Four Ball Best Ball Club Championship. Other social golf events include an annual weekend trip away and a challenge event with the Bribie Island Services Club Golf Club.

Membership: $25 annually  + $35 per game.

Hockey Club
Kedron Wavell Services Hockey Club (KWSHC) fields teams in all Brisbane
hockey competitions – junior girls, junior boys, senior ladies and senior men. The Hockey Club caters for all ages from 6 year olds to veterans over 40 and operates from Burringbar Park located next to Kedron-Wavell Services Club. Kedron-Wavell Services Club is proud to be a major sponsor and provides a variety of funding and support to assist KWSHC in developing the sport of hockey within the local community.

Kedron-Wavell Mixed Indoor Bowls Club
The Kedron-Wavell Mixed Indoor Bowls Club meets every Monday night
including public holidays at 7pm in the Community Hall. Indoor bowls is a great relaxing
way to meets lots of new people while staying active. Kedron-Wavell Mixed Indoor Bowls
Club is primarily a social bowls club however we do conduct both intra-club and interclub competitions. We have a present membership of approximately 70 players and new players are always welcome – no experience needed!

So for a fun night out with a bit of friendly competition, why not join Kedron-Wavell Mixed Indoor Bowls Club for their next bowls night next Monday!
Cost: $1.00 per night - includes 3 games of bowls and supper
